Port of Zhanjiang

Port of Zhanjiang is expanding its business to become a pivotal Beibu Gulf Rim container port as it continues to open new routes and build container berths.

The Container Corporation Branch of the Port of Zhangjiang has opened domestic routes to many ports in North China such as Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao and Lianyungang, as well as many other cities in South China such as Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The port has also opened many direct international routes to Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and many other countries and regions.

The port can serve part of Southwest China and the whole South China region. The annual throughput of the Port of Zhangjiang in 2014 is expected to reach 570,000 TEU.

Meanwhile, four appropriated berths of 50,000 tons are being constructed in the Baoman Container Dock, which will help the port reach an annual through capacity of 3 million tons in the future.
