A strategic cooperation agreement was inked between Zhanjiang government and China Resources Land on Jan 9 to push forward the construction of large-scale commercial complexes and renovation of rundown areas in the city.

Founded in 1994, China Resources Land is one of the most influential real estate developers in China. And it is optimistic about Zhanjiang's potential for future development, said an executive of the enterprise.

Relying on its resources and experience, China Resources Land will ramp up cooperation with the city, while investing in commercial complexes in urban areas and renovation projects in the districts of Chikan and Potou.

Zheng Renhao, Party secretary of Zhanjiang, believed that the enterprise will play a significant role in fueling local industrial transformation and upgrading as well as improve the living environment of the city.

According to Zheng, a coordination organization will be set up to provide high-quality services and help the company solve all kinds of difficulties in the process of project construction in a most efficient manner.
