The 24/7 self-help service zone on the first floor of Zhanjiang Vehicle Administrative Office has completed renovation and reopened to the public on Sept 1.
Residents can now use their identity card to access the zone and complete a range of tasks including vehicle hypothecation removal, six-year examination exemption, driving license replacement and renewal, temporary license plate application, driver and vehicle information inquiries, traffic violation, and photo shooting.
Renewed and replaced licenses can be delivered by express delivery.
To date, the self-service terminals have processed more than 300 drivers' and vehicles' administrative affairs, 500 traffic violations, and 200 photo shootings.
