China Southern Airlines plans to add Zhanjiang-Nanjing route

China Southern Airlines (CSAir) will open a new direct air route connecting Zhanjiang, Guangdong province with Nanjing, capital of Jiangsu province, on Oct 28.

The CZ6660/59 flights are scheduled to fly daily. One will depart from Nanjiang Lukou International Airport at 1:50 pm and arrive at Zhanjiang Airport at 4:40 pm. The other will depart from Zhanjiang at 1:35 pm and arrive in Nanjing at 4 pm.

One of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China, Nanjing has served as the capital of various Chinese dynasties, kingdoms, and republican governments, and has long been a major center for culture, politics, and economics.

The ancient city is home to numerous famous tourist attractions, such as the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), Confucius Temple, Purple Mountain Observatory, Xuanwu Lake, and Qinhuai River.
