Zhanjiang Airport bustles at new aviation season

Zhanjiang Airport shifted to the winter-spring timetable on Oct 28.

New air routes have been launched to connect Zhanjiang with Harbin in Heilongjiang province, Hefei in Anhui, Taiyuan in Shanxi, Jinan in Shandong, Quanzhou in Fujian, and Yichang in Hubei.

Meanwhile, the airport has added more flights to popular cities including Beijing, Xi'an in Shaanxi province, Shijiazhuang in Hebei and Guiyang in Guizhou.

With Tibet Airlines now also flying from the airport, there are now 14 in-house carriers which operate 43 air routes to link Zhanjiang with 42 cities around the world. The airport records 602 departures and arrivals every week, hitting a new high.
