Lianjiang emergency command center put into use

The 120 Emergency Command Center of Lianjiang, Zhanjiang, Guangdong province was inaugurated in Lianjiang People's Hospital on Sept 2.

With a construction area of more than 1,500 square meters and an investment of more than 16 million yuan ($2.24 million), the emergency command center includes a central office, an emergency operation section, an emergency training department, a command and dispatch department, as well as a quality control department.

Equipped with an advanced smart dispatch communication command system, the command center covers six network hospitals, 18 first-aid stations, 49 ambulances, and 570 pre-hospital emergency personnel in the area.

The emergency command center uses modern advanced communication and network technology, enabling the rapid dispatch of digital and information science, which can more effectively cope with various emergencies in Lianjiang and surrounding areas.
