The world's top planning, design, and exhibition industry teams from the UK, Switzerland, the United States, and Australia gathered in Zhanjiang to discuss a blueprint for the development of the Dinglong Bay International Marine Resort project on Sept 22.

Located in the southeastern coastline of Wuchuan, Zhanjiang, Guangdong province, Dinglong Bay Resort is a provincial coastal tourism key project invested by Guangdong Dinglong Group with an estimated investment of 60 billion yuan ($8.43 billion). To date, more than 13 billion yuan has been invested to complete the infrastructure of the resort, the Telas Water World theme park, and the construction of two theme towns.

In the first half of this year, Dinglong Bay has received more than 1.5 million visitors, generating tourism revenue of 80 million yuan. To further develop the project with high standards, Dinglong Group has teamed up with the world's top planning and design teams, as well as hotel management giants to make great efforts and plan ahead.

After listening to the planning and design report of the Dinglong Bay Resort, Zhanjiang Party Secretary Zheng Renhao noted that Zhanjiang has unique coastal tourism resources and is currently welcoming an unprecedented development opportunity due to transportation construction. He expressed his hope that the design of the Dinglong Bay resort will integrate local characteristics and protect biological resources, as well as promote coastal tourism in Zhanjiang.
