During the seven-day National Day holiday, 40,000 people visited the South Asia Tropical Botanical Garden of Zhanjiang to enjoy the beautiful view of its 25,000-square meter of sunflowers and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.

According to Chen Pengcheng, a person in charge of the park, a total of 16 kinds of sunflowers were introduced and cultivated in the garden to create a festive atmosphere of joy and peace.
