A recruitment conference of the 2019 HOME Program of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) was held at Guangdong Ocean University in Zhanjiang on Nov 14, to introduce professional talents to the city.

The HOME Program, which is short for Help Our Motherland through Elite Intellectual Resources from Overseas, is a project initiated by CAST and 35 overseas science and technology groups in February 2004. It aims to strengthen ties with overseas Chinese science and technology groups, give full play to the advantages of overseas talents, as well as encourage the participation of national associations and local science associations to build a platform for overseas talents to return to work in China.

The conference also successfully opened an opportunity for experts from Israel to aid in the development of Zhanjiang by bringing new projects in the fields of smart manufacturing, new energy. and new materials.
