The 2019 Lianjiang Red Orange Festival and Household Appliances Expo will open on Dec 7 in Zhanjiang, South China's Guangdong province.

This year's festival and expo will include: the promotion meeting of Lianjiang's agricultural products, especially red oranges; household appliance exhibition featuring famous domestic brands like Gree and Skyworth; a products trade fair of Lianjiang's friendly cities such as Anda, Heilongjiang province; an exhibition to display Lianjiang's development achievements; a signing ceremony of major projects; as well as vocal concerts and Cantonese opera performances.

Lianjiang has held the Red Orange Festival since 2003, promoting industrial and agricultural products to the public, such as red oranges, home appliances, furniture, and agricultural products, to build well-known brands and promote the rapid development of the city's economy.

Focusing on the display, trade, circulation, and cooperation of home appliances, furniture, and red orange products, this year's events will promote home appliance brands and rural tourism, combining with investment promotion to further polish the two major brands of Lianjiang: "Hometown of Chinese Red Orange" and "China's small household appliance industry base."
