Zhanjiang signs $3.5 million in deals at agricultural expo

The Zhanjiang delegation signed letters of intent worth 24.52 million yuan ($3.5 million) at an agricultural expo in Guangzhou that closed on Dec 1. 

The 10th Guangdong Modern Agricultural Exhibition, simultaneously held with the 2019 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area International Agricultural Products Buyer Summit, featured thousands of premium green agricultural products displayed, as well as 30 economic and trade events. The deals inked at the exhibition totaled up to 6.2 billion yuan.

Comprised of 12 high-qaulity agricultural enterprises, the Zhanjiang delegation showcased new and excellent agricultural products with high technological content and brand products made by famous local enterprises, fully demonstrating the city's agricultural development achievements, as well as the advantages of its economic and tourism development.

The delegation realized sales turnover of 1.8 million yuan on the spot, with many of the local specialties selling out quickly.
