Dameichen village of Huangpo town in Wuchuan, Zhanjiang plans to build an agriculture complex in four years, integrating production, tourism, science popularization, accommodation, vacation, and farm houses, with a scale of 800 hectares and a total investment of 2.3 billion yuan ($327.12 million). 

An agriculture complex is an integrated development model where enterprises carry out comprehensive planning, development, and operation in rural communities on a large scale, based on the cooperation between enterprises and local communities.

The agriculture complex will be built into a modern agricultural comprehensive platform, establishing modern rural farmhouses integrating innovative technology sharing, participation of farmer cooperatives, brand channel leadership, and industry incubation.

According to Liu Yabao, chairman of Guangdong Debao Agricultural Eco-tourism Development Co, the agriculture complex will address the issue of unemployment, offering job opportunities to 2,000 surrounding villagers after completion.

You Rong, a member of the Wuchuan Party committee, said that the development and construction of the agriculture complex in Wuchuan will integrate various industries, combine agricultural products with culture, leisure, vacations, and artistic creativity, enhance the value and output value of modern agriculture, as well as expand the rural consumer market and the tourism market.

He Chaojun, Party secretary of Huangpo town, said that the agriculture complex will promote local entrepreneurship and employment, boost the development of the local economy, and speed up rural revitalization.
