Zheng Renhao, Party secretary of Zhanjiang, and Jiang Jianjun, mayor of Zhanjiang, met with Huang Dunxin, chairman of Guangdong Guangye Group, on Dec 25, conducting in-depth discussions on accelerating the construction of environmental protection energy projects on Donghai Island.

Zheng noted that Zhanjiang is now ushering in unprecedented development opportunities. He expressed hope that Guangye Group will seize the opportunity to support the economic and social development of Zhanjiang, making positive contributions to the development of the city's circular economy.

Jiang praised Guangye Group for its strategic development in recent years, such as gathering resources in Zhanjiang and deepening cooperation with the local government. Jiang stressed that the government will fully support the construction of Guangye Group's investment projects in the future.

Huang expressed optimism about Zhanjiang's development prospects and said Guangye Group is willing to increase investment in Zhanjiang and actively participate in the construction of clean energy and environmental protection fields.

Guangye Group is a comprehensive large-scale State-owned enterprise, as well as an important construction and operation platform for environmental improvement in Guangdong province. It has participated in the investment and construction of multiple sewage treatment plants and new energy projects in Zhanjiang. It is currently committed to providing smart environmental protection energy services for Donghai Island.
