Tongde Pharmaceutical Co in Zhanjiang, a domestic professional medicinal aerosol base mainly engaged in the research, development, and production of aerosols, sprays, plasters, and tinctures, has started to churn out medical disinfectant to contribute to the fight against the novel coronavirus outbreak after the technological transformation of its production lines.

Tongde successfully obtained the sanitation permit on Feb 6 for Zhanjiang's first disinfection product manufacturer since the outbreak. On Feb 8, its production lines were successfully put into operation as Zhanjiang's first enterprise to transform its operations to make anti-epidemic materials.

At present, 155 employees of the company are working at full capacity to produce alcohol disinfectant 24 hours a day, and to deliver it to the front line of the epidemic prevention to protect the health of Zhanjiang residents.

The company will cooperate with Yunda Express to enable citizens to purchase alcohol disinfectant online in the next few days.

In addition, in response to the shortage of emergency supplies in the front line of the city, Tongde Pharmaceuticals will donate 500,000 yuan worth of supplies, such as alcohol disinfectant and masks, to support the front line staff.
