Two more patients with confirmed cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia were cured and discharged from Central People's Hospital of Zhanjiang on the morning of Feb 13, with the total number of discharged patients in the city rising to 11.
The two patients discharged were a 24-year-old male patient working in Wuhan and a 30-year-old male patient living in Suizhou, Hubei province.
After being treated at the hospital, the vital signs of the two patients returned to normal and the double reviews of nucleic acid testing were negative. They were finally able to be discharged on Feb 13 after the consultation of hospital experts.
At present, Zhanjiang has cured and discharged 11 patients infected by the novel coronavirus, more than half of its 21 confirmed cases. From Feb 9 to 12, there were no new confirmed cases in Zhanjiang. A total of 14 suspected cases were reported and 61 people who had close contacts with inflected patients were under medical observation.
