A batch of Cantonese ingredients with Zhanjiang flavors that can be quickly replenished and eaten after heating were packed and sent to the medical team. A total of more than 10 tons of ingredients, such as chicken, shrimp, fruit and vegetables, sea-cooked rice, radish, as well as dried shrimp, were donated, worth a total value of 130,000 yuan ($18,591.08).

In recent years, Zhanjiang has vigorously promoted its Cantonese cuisine chef training project, and has cultivated a large number of Cantonese cuisine chef talents for various catering enterprises in the city. Catering companies participating in the donation were mainly Cantonese catering enterprises.
