Zhanjiang held a meeting on March 2 to discuss further strengthening its novel coronavirus epidemic prevention and control efforts, as well as improve the city's public health emergency management system.

The city will implement the strategy of focusing on the prevention, external defense input, and minimizing the local spread of the novel coronavirus on the basis of county-level units accurately detecting, tracking, and following up on personal information to ensure the registration of suspected cases and the timely treatment of abnormal conditions.
