During the Spring Festival holiday, more than 3,000 workers worked at the China-Kuwait Integrated Refining project to promote on-site construction, in which none of the workers were confirmed or suspected of having the novel coronavirus. The management team has cooperated with local medical service teams, conducting body temperature detection, as well as accurately grasping the clear isolation observation points and fever fixed-point hospitals in Zhanjiang. To date, more than 9,300 people are working on site, of which more than 5,000 people were migrants returning from places outside Hubei province since Feb 10.
The Tiaoshun Cross-sea Bridge project, a fast lane connecting the eastern and western parts of Zhanjiang, also implemented self-protection measures for returned workers, putting in place daily temperature monitoring and registration, timely and comprehensively disinfecting public places and issuing protective supplies, as well as explaining epidemic protection information to workers.
