In order to steadily promote the continuous improvement of the rural environment, the city focused on sanitation rectifications in August 2019. It actively explored grid-based management, which divides the city into tiny sections and assigns people to oversee each portion, of cleaning and sanitation. City, towns, and villages have been given responsibility for their own sanitary zones to promote the normalization of sanitation and cleaning.
In addition, relevant regulations have been formulated in the villages in Leizhou and a supervision system of environmental sanitation among neighbors has been established. A stable investment mechanism and management mechanism have also been set up to continuously promote the improvement of Leizhou's rural residential environment.
