Xiahai Customs, which is under the jurisdiction of Zhanjiang Customs, recently issued a certificate of origin (C/O) for the export of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic prevention materials of a Zhanjiang company.

The batch of anti-epidemic supplies, which included 200,000 medical masks with a value of 890,400 yuan ($126,172), was the first export of COVID-19 epidemic prevention materials of Zhanjiang Kangnian Rubber Product, after the company transformed its functions to contribute to the fight against COVID-19.

Xiahai Customs has greatly helped the company export COVID-19 prevention materials as soon as possible, including quickly completing the product registration through online checks and opening the green channel for C/Os.

Since February, Xiahai Customs has examined and verified a total of 1,227 C/Os and issued 846 C/Os. It has helped export products under its jurisdiction obtain a tariff reduction of about 19.38 million yuan from import countries.
