Zhanjiang Customs launched an intellectual property rights (IPR) protection campaign on April 26 to celebrate World Intellectual Property Day, as well as to further safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of enterprises by creating a good environment for IPR protection.
A variety of activities have been carried out to publicize relevant policies and regulations on the customs' IPR protection.
For industries with high risk of IPR infringement, such as home appliances, Zhanjiang Customs, along with local market supervision bureaus and industry associations, held targeted publicity activities for relevant enterprises.
Zhanjiang Customs has also publicized typical cases of IPR protection in combination with the risks of IPR infringement at the freight clearance zone, as well as detailed the needs of enterprises.
In addition, training on the operational law enforcement ability of front-line officers were carried out to further enhance their awareness of IPR protection.
The campaign will last until April 30.
