Youths from Zhanjiang won a total of 28 awards at the recent 35th Guangdong Youth Science and Technology Innovation Competition.

Due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, this year's competition canceled the on-site exhibition and evaluation, adopting modes of online review, centralized discussion, and online Q&As.

About 1,200 entries were submitted to the competition. The awards that Zhanjiang won included two first prizes, four second prizes, and seven third prizes for scientific and technological innovation achievements, as well as one patent application award and three third prizes for scientific and technological practices.
