The Legal Counsel Special Committee of the Zhanjiang Association of Overseas Chinese Returnees was established on June 28, along with a legal volunteer team for overseas Chinese returnees in the city's Chikan district.

The committee and the legal volunteer team aim to further enhance the legal awareness of overseas Chinese returnees and enterprises, provide them with legal consultation services, as well as protect their legitimate rights and interests.

Set up in 2015, the Zhanjiang Association of Overseas Chinese Returnees is a platform to help overseas Chinese returnees find jobs and start businesses by providing various services and resources, promoting the economic and social development of Zhanjiang.

To date, the association has more than 1,000 members that are mainly engaged in the fields of real estate, chemical engineering, manufacturing, catering, agriculture, food processing, and services.
